Super glad my boiii Chico Dub got all these Brazilian musicians/artists on my e-mail, shooting me e-mails about their new works and weirds. Abdala is no different, either. The tracks on his Sétima EP (which is subsequently more than 60 minutes long), pretty much are summed up in the Bandcamp profile picture. Just the mere thought of someone making this music, sitting on a laptop alone in the dark, is exactly the atmosphere in which this music remains AND a zone I’d like to be in immediately while listening.
Like, if I ever want that zone, I know I could always just pop on Abdala’s Sétima EP via Bandcamp, and shit’ll be chill. What’s also chill is the fact that Bandcamp and SoundCloud and DatPiff make it easy to never have a hard drive again, thus just logging into [internet] and snagging me some more of Abdala’s tunes, which are FIVE releases deep since January this year!
