Color Plus gets back from a West Coast tour with FUGITIVE, immediately hooks up with Karma caretaker and Swim Team squad-NRG man AceMo, and amid that night, “SEAG.01” became legendary audio. Coming in at nearly six minutes, this bottle-service banger will get you shrugging at $3k spilled champagne, at the club, on the dance floor, fucking burning. Classic Color Plus scattered beats melting in collaborative melody that mirrors the low-end bassline and a (practically) [subtle] house beat that vibes fire against flanged scales of notes snaring, flaring and pairing harmoniously with AceMo’s sampled shouts; shit, there’s probably a thousand percussion sounds in all of the high-def “SEAG.01” glory, and during every listen, more erupts around a 360-degrees of listening. And in the midst of current Netcika glory, Color Plus is merely sharing the flame with AceMo, who’s also due for a brand new Bootleg Tapes EP, Red Shift, which just might split skulls in anticipation before it even drops.
