There’s one thing I can trust in this world of music, and it’s when a band doesn’t have a website to back themselves up. If you got a Facebook, that’s chill, but keep it on the level. Actually, one post this year technically means you DON’T have Facebook, and I can get into that. And I feel like Filthy Huns feel the same way in-light of their newest track title: “Fake Ass Muthas.”
All the classic Not Not Fun tropes are here: spiraling electronics via’ccoustics, lightly plucked and building psychedelia, distantly raw vocals, non-stop pandemonium at MAX chill. Yesterday, TMT’s boii Jason C hit me with his post on Decoder with the digitals to Filthy Huns’ newest tape, Leopard On My Right, and I can’t stop listening to it. Can’t wait until next Tuesday when Not Not Fun reaches down and births another gem.
