Sacred Phrases have been releasing some of the best electronic tapes in recent memory, and their impending team-up between David “LXV” Sutton and Matthew “Karmelloz” Pepitone seems to be following down this anointed path. Recently revealed track “Guitar Store” is melancholic and hazy without stepping fully to the side of ambient; sort of like six minutes of a plane descending at sunset, dubbed to the same VHS you once recorded Endless Summer to, tracking issues preserved.
Stream “Guitar Store” below. Full length album Runner is available on cassette and digital formats August 26. Preorder here.
