Always with a fresh trick up their sleeve, Acorn Tapes is back with more gold-star magic in Chicago. As SEENMR’s very first release, Chicago narrates a vision unique in time and scene, capturing the deep alleyways and textured skyline that echoes from dusk’s earliest ray to dawns hazy inhalant. What I dig most in this Acorn Tape is the longer track times. Actually, I’m not sure if there’s ever been a track on the UK-based label that’s stretched to seven minutes and 26 seconds.
