I have loved Tirzah ever since her and Micachu’s 2011 single,” Go,” during her Greco-Roman days, and through to now, even better. She recently uploaded three new songs to her SoundCloud, but of them, “reload back better” stands out for its clappy juke beat, warm synthesis, and Tirzah’s incredible voice — all bluesy highs and raspy lows — simmering through.
I hope this lasts. My soul needs more of this music in 2018:
