Didn’t know if y’all would be ready, but g h o s t i n g just haunted listeners with some homage, blast-from-the-past Black Joker/Monopoly Child re-envisioning featuring the track “Digi-Wave At Pua’ena Point.” Out this winter on Adhesive Sounds, 2D FUN AT GRID WORLD! by g h o s t i n g will be seeping into skulls on the trickle, tingling on them field recording bird courses, drifting percussionary ramblings and synthetically moaned melodies, raising rocks and floating tractor beam prayers in forms of meditations like “Digi-Wave At Pua’ena Point.” Like getting lost in your favorite jungle of smoke, taking a nap on the floor next to the loudest speaker in your house, g h o s t i n g’s “Digi-Wave At Pua’ena Point” will grip at your imagination like a dream you’ve never wanted to awake from, venturing your bravery in mental territories typically untraversed. And it’s refreshing to get that feel back from having been lost for so long. Though, “Digi-Wave At Pua’ena Point” also seems to behold a tinge of modern Ahnnu and Dolphins into the Future, as well. But with a breadth that leaves this Grinder wanting MORE!
Not only is Adhesive Sounds dropping 2D FUN AT GRID WORLD! this winter on the REEL, but they’re also fronting a RErelease of g h o s t i n g’s Telenights off last summer’s Dream Catalogue batch in a limited run of 50 tapes (this weekend, maybe).
