In what will go down as a scorcher of a summer for most of the west coast, leave it to LA’s 100% Silk to drop some cool as ice jams to ease us back onto the dance floor. Paradise 100, dropping his second release for the label, after 2k13’s The Loin King, is back with Northern Seoul, a very dope and danceable set of crisp power jack rhythms. The title track is streaming below, and I love it. I’m getting married next week, and I want my reception to be all about these jammys. I wish I had had the courage to ask the SILK crew to DJ the party. No doubt it would have been an epic evening out on the farm, but I’m sure it will go fine even without it :)
