Brooklyn’s [slightly] post-noise foursome bbigpigg recently released a new EP titled Din-Din, and a video to go along with opener “Chow Time.” Although the band members have been quick to cite the likes of Captain Beefheart as an influence, others abound as well, including nostalgic favorites Jesus Lizard and Arab-On-Radar, and this is what sets this band apart, as heavy guitars and noisy dissonance are forced to share ‘space’ with each other on the band’s songs, resulting in quite a unique sound.
