Holy Sons (a.k.a. Emil Amos of Om, Grails, Lilacs, and Champagne) has released the second single from his new album In The Garden, out October 21 via Partisan. “Robbed and Gifted,” which we have the pleasure of premiering below, is a searing and dreamy rock piece that relies on 60s- and 70s-era songwriting while maintaining a contemporary indie ambiance. In the press release for the track, Amos described the title of the song as “probably extracted from the image of when Indiana Jones switched out the bag of sand for a gold idol, which seemed like a faint reference to alchemy and the trade-off that fate can deal you.”
In The Garden will be the 13th album from Holy Sons. Pre-order it on limited-edition green LP, black LP, CD, and digital here.
