In a minimalist style reminiscent of his sparse self-titled debut album, James Blake announced a brand-new EP on Twitter called Enough Thunder, with nary a shred of further info beyond a cover image and a release date: October 10. Well, it turns out that the man behind both Lindisfarnes has six tracks of rump-rippling music all packaged and ready for distribution on October 10 via Atlas. Two of these songs you’ve heard in a low enough quality that your rump may not have even begun to ripple, but that’s likely to change once they’re spinning on vinyl; those songs are “Fall Creek Boys Choir” (his recent collaboration with Boney Chair), and his cover of Joni Mitchell’s Blue highlight, “A Case of You”. That only leaves four more tracks to this EP, but remember that Klavierwerke and CMYK were both only four tracks and they still managed to break up your marriage.
