Following the release of FLOTUS last month, Lambchop have announced a series of North American tour dates for the spring of 2017. These shows come in addition to Lambchop’s upcoming, extensive, winter tour of Europe, and will actually be the band’s first performances in North America in the post-FLOTUS world.
But what’s a triumphant return to North America without a little added “pizzazz”? For all but the final date of the North American tour, Lambchop will be joined by Wye Oak’s Andy Stack, completing the indie rock Voltron we will all come to know and love as “the Lambchop quartet.” Just think of all the barbershop hits these guys will be able to bust out! Forget anything off of the acclaimed FLOTUS or from the band’s extensive back catalog; I want to hear Kurt Wagner try his hand at a little “Baby On Board.”
