Every day I like to figure out what I learned. Sometimes you’ve gotta dig a little, and it’s something less than mind-blowing. Like yesterday, I learned that my fridge magnets are getting grotty. Today, I learned something a bit more enthralling, which is: in the sport of bowling, three consecutive strikes is called a turkey.
How about that?!
With that knowledge stowed away in the old knowledge bank, we can all learn a few more things for today: (1) Mike Krol has signed to Merge, (2) his third album will be released August 28, and (3) it’s called Turkey (for reasons that will now be obvious to you).
The preview below also suggests that Krol’s penchant for skuzzy garage hooks remains, and that he may or may not moonlight as a police officer. All useful information.
