Take it from the man himself: Young Thug’s “got a hundred thangs to do,” and releasing copious amounts of music is clearly on the agenda. Fresh off the back of Barter 6 — one of the best damn things to drop this year, btw — and that leak of assorted Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Rich Gang offcuts/unreleased tracks, Thugger took to the ‘Gram to announce not only a new collaborative tape with top-rate producer London on da Track called Slime Season, but also its release date: July 4.
Thug and London is a fairly renowned partnership at this stage, producing the likes of “Lifestyle,” “Check,” “Numbers,” “With That,” and more. The prospect of a Young Thug tape helmed solely by London on da Track is a fairly salivating one and should certainly tide us over until both Metro Thuggin and Hy!£UN35 see the light of day. Until then, there’s always B6, the unreleased tracks, and years worth of mixtapes prior to that; we’re hardly short of Thugger, and we’re all the better for it.
