Underworld rep Barking on new album in September

·

Underworld are set to release their eighth studio album, Barking, on September 14 in the US (September 13 in the U.K. and Europe) via Cooking Vinyl. What a momentous occasion, am I right? Eight albums? That’s like 500 in dog years if, like, dogs released albums. Underworld have been kickin’ out the jams since Rick Smith and Karl Hyde met in Cardiff in the late 70s, but this album is different. Special. It’s the first album ever on which the duo have collaborated with some of the finest names in electronic music. Check that ish in the tracklisting below.

Or if you wanna check that ish live, just hop a plane to Merrye Londontown (or if you live there, you could walk or use public transit) and head on over to the Roundhouse in July, where they’ll be headlining the… iTunes festival. A smattering of other European festivals are planned for the rest of the summer.
