Tiny Mix Tapes

Tyvek tour U.S. to confirm they’re not just a polyurethane product

·

Tyvek’s sound, much like the condition of the city of Detroit from which they hail, is a filthy mess going in complete structural reverse. Instead of building up, their songs break and strip down and completely fall apart. Which is exactly what is so damn refreshing about Tyvek’s existence. They realize everything’s been done, so instead of progressing they, in turn, digress. All this is embodied in their second full-length Nothing Fits, which was just released by In the Red.

With this raucous piece of rockery still fresh in people’s ears, Tyvek are manning four wheels and hittin’ the road come January. Because who wouldn’t want an excuse to get out of Detroit.
