People are jerks. TRUE. Evidence supporting this story includes the fact that, as reported by FACT, electronic-pop artist Grimes had her gear stolen after a recent show at Manchester’s HMV Ritz. Grimes (a.k.a. Claire Boucher) tweeted about the theft the following morning. Individuals with information on the theft should contact her through Twitter.
Despite the theft, Clash Music has confirmed that the remainder of Grimes’ tourdates will occur as scheduled. And she has plenty of dates planned! She’ll be embarking on a North American tour next month, which will be followed by a European tour in November. Grimes will wrap up the year in the traditional way of all Canadians: a short Australian tour and two Coachella cruises. Somewhere in between, she’ll swing a sword around and ride in a limo with a snake. Oh wait, that’s just the “Genesis” video. Well, since we’re here, might as well watch that:
