Arcade Fire announce October release date for new record, admit guilt in burning of Montreal Biosphere

·

The Arcade Fire burned down the Montreal Biosphere. This is a theory I’ve believed for a long time, but now I have my first shred of evidence on the subject. Before I get to it, though, let me mention that Consequence of Sound reports that Arcade Fire have announced an October 29 release date for their fourth record. The group revealed this information as a response to a fan’s tweet. OKAY, now here’s where the important information about the Montreal Biosphere begins. Included in the tweet announcing the release date was this horrifying image, portraying the ghoulish band standing in front of the Biosphere. If you ask me, this is damning evidence. Now, I don’t know how the band returned to May 20, 1976, the day the sphere burned, to commit this heinous act, but I’ll put that together later.

Perhaps clues to the band’s time crime will be found in this forthcoming record. To keep authorities off the trail, Arcade Fire recorded in a number of locations, including the DFA Studios in New York with James Murphy. Has Murphy long been an expert on time traveling, thus allowing his former band LCD Soundsystem to so accurately mimic a number of forgotten musical styles? It is unlikely, but possible. Last month, Revolt TV reported that the band would premiere a new song on September 9. Many criminals want only to be caught, so keep eyes and ears out for valuable information during this time. Lastly, the group premiered new material during a private concert at Montreal’s Breakglass Studios last December. Where are the people who attended the concert? Why do they maintain this silence? Good lord, this rabbit hole may be too deep for any of us to delve.
