A borrowed dream comes true in a cloudburst color roll of quicklime, Krueger red, Heaven’s ray and Marvel comic and comet blue, elapsing and unfolding slowly in less than eight hours. Ellard’s wide-screen tempest slakes the vapors, then distills them into lips and eyes, passion and languor. No cause for alarm. Our curious eyes, with hook in mouth, are pulled into the miniature gas giant, whose facial features are reminiscent of the Lumia radiating from Thomas Wilfred or perhaps Nokia. Our liberated ears are the bait for the signal, manufactured through our squirming and squints.
