DOKO - “Lindsay Lohan” “Lindsay Lohan”

·

Lindsay Lohan was born in New York City on July 2, 1986. She was a child actress and model before her breakout performance in the Tina Fey-scripted film Mean Girls. She also released the pop album Speak (2004), which went platinum. Since becoming a celebrity, Lohan has had problems with drug and alcohol abuse that have been well-documented in the tabloids. In November 2012, Lohan starred as Elizabeth Taylor in the TV movie Liz & Dick. In 2013, she starred in Paul Schrader’s independent film The Canyons. In 2014, the docu-series Lindsay aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Now, in 2015, Lindsay Lohan gets a song named after her by dial-up princess DOKO. Like much of DOKO’s tracks, there’s a “Friday Night” (SOPHIE remix) sorta vibe, a slightly grittier, out-of-the-box descendent of “Sam” & “Alex.” But the producer, proprietor of new label Fright House, is highly prolific and evolving pretty quickly. Worth feeling for.
