I’m not sure how I came across storm . blessing by ADAMAS, but one thing is for sure: that description makes NO sense. Check it out on the Bandcamp. I hear very LITTLE nature sounds in this, but aside from that, the description is so basic and broad, that I’m getting it confused with all the other projects that sound like storm . blessing. It’s like when you hear people at work who live with their parents, talking about how they have NO time for ANYTHING when they get home at night. Like, FUCK YOU, I’m writing this after work, and just walked my dog, fed my girl and me, and took out the trash. Upon finishing this writing, I need to get to my Grams’ place to make sure she ate dinner and is preparing herself for bed, then I’ll go swim about 80 laps at the pool, come home, take out my dog, listen to more music and talk with my girl, get ready for bed, and then sleep only to wake up, work, and do the same all over again. Should I bounce around the time to make room for another post? Sure I should. And I can. Because time doesn’t “exist.”
Let’s get on a brighter note: outside the superfluous generic description of storm . blessing, ADAMAS tries super hard NOT to create psychedelic, attention grabbing elements, but instead using them as parts of the synth beats, drawing focus more toward the music making skill-set being employ, opposed to any sort of smoke and mirrors. Again, smoke and mirrors in the actual music. There’s no context to what the description beholds. But good think listening to music involves no reading, right? storm . blessing by ADAMAS is streaming below:
