What’s up, you slimeballs? I’ll cut to the dang chase: Faith No More is back. The band that brought Mike Patton, one of the world’s top slimy weirdo auteurs, to prominence has returned after a lengthy hiatus. Appropriately, they’ve announced a slew of new dates set for our sweatiest, nastiest months, July and August. This summer, get sticky with Mike and the boys.
Being back entails not just live dates for Faith No More, but also their first album in nearly 20 years as well. On May 19, the band will release Sol Invictus through Reclamation and Patton’s own Ipecac label. Pre-orders are available heer for North America and here for Europe. On May 13, the group will also return to the late-night TV circuit, playing The Tonight Show for their first late-night performance since 1995. Will Mike Patton lick Jimmy Fallon’s face?
