After recently dropping a video for a couple tracks off her 2014 album Aquarius, Tinashe has delivered the first single off her forthcoming album, Joyride. Titled “Party Favors,” the track features Tinashe singing above trademark production from Boi-1da (who’s responsible for some of this year’s best tracks, like “Energy” and “The Blacker The Berry”). It even has an assist by TMT favorite Young Thug. Unfortunately, I can’t stop hearing the hard “Drunk in Love” vibe going on in the chords and cadences, but fuck it: we’re excited to see what Tinashe’s got cooking, especially after her Amethyst mixtape from March.
Joyride is due later this year on RCA.
