Eartheater - “Wetware” “Wetware”

·

Back on the noggin-tickle, as if putting on a show every other night in Brooklyn (practically) and the release of Metalepsis weren’t enough, Eartheater is about to take you on another mental plunge with the Hausu Mountain (co-owned by TMTer Mukqs) release of RIP Chrysalis.

Kicking it off with the single “Wetware,” Eartheater continues to produce as a beacon of furious beauty with a voice signaling from beyond the astral realm, at once blending with and acting against the beat and melted instrumentals. It’s actually comparatively modest music, as most of Eartheater’s works pan outward, focusing on the music and not directly on her voice or character, leaving ego lingering rather than directly being shoved down our ear canals. “Wetware” isn’t exactly wet-money, but close enough to something so pop and postmodern productionist that it’s pretty much internal.

Snoop “Wetware” by Eartheater below and head over to Hausu Mountain for her newest release RIP Chrysalis out October 25.
