Primal Scream announce Chaosmosis with possible Sky Ferreira guest spot

Primal Scream completely bust the myth that doing acid can seriously stuff up your brain, or maybe just that stuffing up your brain with acid can yield seriously great results. While the anti-drug naysayers could have reasonably expected Bobby Gillespie et al. to have shrivelled up into their own personal primal scream about a year after their Screamadelica period, the Scottish stayers are still standing 25 years later and promising to deliver their 11th album in 2016.

That album is called Chaosmosis and will be released March 18 via the band’s own label, First International.

There’s a pretty credible rumor circulating the web that Sky Ferreira will be guesting on the album, the most conclusive clue being this little snippet posted on Ferreira’s Instagram:
