Grimes has released a new video for an alternate version of the song “California.” The track is off Art Angels, which was released last year and described by SCVSCV as “a photomontage of the art-pop genre mirrored in glorious, impeccable costume, one that obscures instrument and identity alike through its poetry.”
The video features appearances by Megan James (Purity Ring), HANA, Born Gold, model Eric Cheng, and Grimes’s brother, Mac Boucher, and follows vids for “Flesh Without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream” and “Kill V. Maim.”
