It’s been over three decades since the influential rap-funk-rock-punk-metal-experimental-whatever band Faith No More released their debut album, We Care A Lot. Originally released on the San Francisco-based label Mordan Records in 1985, Faith No More’s iconic album is being reissued after more than 20 years out of print.
Remastered from the original reels by engineering guru,Maor Applebaum, this deluxe release features nine bonus tracks, including three remixes, four demos, and two live tracks from a 1986 show at the I-Beam in San Francisco.
Described by Select Magazine as “a lustful marriage of mutoid metal and dance floor verve,” We Care A Lot marks the beginning of a band whose music has been both critically-acclaimed and frustratingly difficult to define.
Look out for the reissue of We Care A Lot on August 19 via Bill Gould’s Koolarrow Records. The CD is available now for pre-order here.
