Pantha du Prince, a.k.a. emotive techno producer Hendrik Weber, is experiencing a long-overdue comeback right now. He has just released The Triad, his first solo album since 2010’s Black Noise, and is set to play several shows in the US this coming fall, making them his first appearances statewide in four years. He’ll also be promoting his latest LP at festivals all across Europe this summer.
In other Pantha du Prince-related news, the recording of Weber’s recent Boiler Room set is now available online. For the performance, Weber was joined by Scott Mou (Queens) and Bendik Kjeldsberg (Bell Laboratory), both of whom contributed to The Triad.
