MusicRogue app swaps on-hold music with anything on your playlist

Being on hold is terrible. Not only do you have to wait on the phone like a chump, but you also have to endure excruciating muzak that’s made even worse because it usually sounds like it’s streaming out of a small tin can.

That’s where the new MusicRogue app comes in. MusicRogue allows you to switch seamlessly from mundane on-hold tunes to music either straight from your smartphone or through third-party services like Spotify. As soon as the rep comes back, your chosen music will automatically stop and you can promptly get back to negotiating a discount or to scheduling a flossing, or whatever.

And, importantly, MusicRogue won’t drop your call, won’t trick you with in-app purchases, and won’t pummel you with ads, either in the app or on the phone line.
