At least here in New York, autumn has finally slouched its way into our lives; this past summer’s humidity has, just in the last few days, transformed into grey skies, rain, wind, and a gradual, constant feeling of decay. Mortality is everywhere and soon there will be no escape.
Fortunately, three-headed life affirmation Kero Kero Bonito have appeared to save us with “Trampoline,” an epic hail mary play for keeping the sunshine alive a little bit longer. Piercing the gloam like a candle on birthday cake, Midori Perry and crew have refined the very concept of happiness to four minutes, ideal for looping on the subway while you wonder why you never replaced your sneakers which has that hole in the heel with actual boots.
