Get Busy!, a self-described “offline gathering of hashtag and mass coding” based out of Kazan, Russia, has inaugurated their new series of live performance podcasts with a blistering set from Russian duo ʞık. Members Leps Dubasov and Pavel Malikhov launch their synths into a slurry of slow-swirling industrial mud, but the patches keep blipping even as the crevices fill with sludge. Wade in, head under, all’s dark, it’s abuzz. Figures of scooting creatures, all chatter and fuzz. Slick all around like a sticky negative, and then the glitch flicks.
