Pissed Jeans, the essence of Philadelphia personified in a band, are playing at a variety of laundromats and coin-operated laundry rooms across the Upper East Coast of the United States of America between February 23 and March 11, in support of their new album Why Love Now, due for release February 24 on Sub Pop. The previous sentence was the meat, so if you’ve already urinated inside your trousers and don’t need to be sold on why it would be a good idea to see one of these concerts, feel free to bail. If you’re still here, wondering if the title of this act is literal, no, this is not a performance art group that actually dispenses liquid from their body onto clothing articles; they are one of the best post-hardcore bands playing music in the country.
If you live near one of these places, go see them. If you’re sick of this post’s bullshit and just want to hear what they sound like, you can do so on YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, or through the embed conveniently placed below. Or not. But then you’ll be missing out on a great band, and that would be silly of you.
