“Radiations,” by Berlin modular duo Driftmachine rode the particle/wave line of sound and groove even before getting a Shackleton rework. But now, double the length of the original, the remixed version folds its chilly tones into intricate sets of shelves and compartments. Shackleton’s splintery percussion taps away, amazing in its detail and poise. The video’s abstracted interference only amplifies the sense of immersion, as pinging geometric light resembles harsh mineral formations and low-res celestial footage.
