When you’re a JAPANDROID (which scientists describe as some sort of cross between a Dalek and a Cyberman on the “Robo-Adorability-Scale”), you dutifully put-out feverish, celebratory, ticker-tape, fist-pumping rock records, and then dutifully tour the WORLD on them. It’s just what you’re PROGRAMMED to DO.
PERIOD.
Accordingly, those two handsome japandroids in the band Japandroids — who dutifully computed, calibrated, and laser-printed their latest record of feverish, celebratory, ticker-tape, fist-pumping rock Near to the Wild Heart of Life — have just finished dutifully computing, calibrating, and laser-printing a new 7-inch, featuring the feverish, celebratory, ticker-tape, fist-pumping song “North East South West” as the A-Side and a cover of Dead Moon’s “Fire In The Western World” on the B-Side.
Accordingly, this artifact has since been made available through the band’s web store (a digital version will also “launch on all streaming services and DSPs on May 16”).
Accordingly, it’ll also be physically available and the forthcoming world tour that Japandroids have planned for basically the entire remainder of the year 2017 C.E. (except for TODAY [May 9, 2017 C.E.] and FRIDAY [May 12, 2017 C.E.], when they are scheduled to appear live-and-in-japandroid on Later…with Jools Holland).
Accordingly, sympathetic human creators of similarly feverish, celebratory, ticker-tape, fist-pumping rock Cloud Nothings are scheduled to appear live-and-in-person alongside the aforementioned japandroids in Japandroids for a finite-but-significant number of the aforementioned world tour dates on which the twice-aforementioned japandroids in Japandroids will be dutifully embarking, following the release of the also-aforementioned “North East South West” 7-inch, a YouTube audio-visual uplink for which has been dutifully embedded down below.
PERIOD.
