Jason Lescalleet announces tour and 18th installment of his rebooted This Is What I Do series

·

Helloooooo, gooooood tooooo seeeee yoooouuuuu!!

(^^^That was my attempt to represent a Lescalleet-ian drone in a typewritten greeting of Standard written English. And now…to the news!)

Jason Lescalleet has announced a tour for June, and you’re invited! The stint sees Lescalleet hitting the likes of New York, Maryland, and North Carolina, with a slot at Cincinnati’s No Response Festival. If you’re not able to make it to one of these shows, luckily we have some more concrete, less geographically-dependent information here, and it’s this: earlier this year, Lescalleet’s long-running This Is What I Do album series got a restart, and today, he’s sharing the 18th installment on his own Glistening Examples label. What a guy!

The This Is What I Do series began in 2011 but was at its most productive in 2015 when it became part of a monthly subscription deal. Its return this year follows an extended break throughout 2016, and, according to Lescalleet, the “series will continue indefinitely, though it will be sporadic and without charted course.”

As per tradition, this volume will be deleted prior to the next release in the series, so grab it soon from the label’s Bandcamp and/or listen to it below. The June tour + June tour poster can be found down there, too.
