Oh, sweet RELIEF. 21 Savage has just announced fall dates for his upcoming “Numb The Pain Tour” across North America, the timing of which honestly works out great, because I have this terrible toothache I’ve been too scared to make a dentist appointment for. (Not like my dentist herself is “scary,” per se,…I just get anxiety about insurance papers and the loud, screeching equipment; and at this point, I’m just so OVER that whole “flossing-twice-daily” guilt trip. It’s like: I’m an adult, I get it. Let me live, dude.)
The tour follows 21 Savage’s chart-topping debut studio album from this summer, Issa Album. Joining him is the fast-rising Louisiana rapper YoungBoy NBA, who will open all but 2 of the 22 shows. (Anyone else think they should’ve cut one to make it 21 shows? Then they could do a tagline like: “Join us for 21…SAVAGE shows this fall!” God, they should really pay me for this!)
Oh well. Anyway, like I was saying: THANKFULLY, the “Numb The Pain” Tour kicks off November 16 in Austin, Texas, taking 21 and YoungBoy across the US for just over a month of powerfully anesthetizing shows — including stop at Rolling Loud in LA on December 17.
Tickets are now available for pre-sale, with the password “issapresale.” And…if anyone can bring me some Novacane, HMU; I can meet outside the venue beforehand.
