My, time flies. It seems like just last month we announced the latest batch of goodies from perennial gifters Hausu Mountain. Well, not to come over all S.E. Hinton on you, but: That Was Then, This Is Now. And NOW is the time to announce the LATEST, and LAST, set of releases from Hausu Mountain for 2017.
For the past five years, the Chicago label has been issuing strange sounds and dumping square conventions one rectangular cassette at a time (though they do press vinyl and CDs sometimes). Or three at a time, as is the case this time around. November 17 sees the release of a trio of tapes by Hausu faves Brett Naucke, Moth Cock, and Form a Log. All are available on cassette and digital download. Pre-order here separately or here for all three packaged together in a “WTF LOL” batch.
Dedicated followers of the Mountain of Hausu will already be acquainted with the hypnotic ambient machinations of Brett Naucke, the boss romps and cracked journeys of Moth Cock, and the perplexing rumble-jumble of Form a Log. Whether you are or are not, feel free to check out tasters from Naucke’s Multiple Hallucinations, Moth Cock’s 0-100 at the Speed of the Present, and Form a Log’s At a Festival respectively below.
