Martin Shkreli to forfeit $2 million Wu-Tang Clan album, judge rules (as in, the judge is awesome)

“Fatal Flying Guillotine chops off your fucking head”

In the continuing saga that is Martin Shkreli’s fall from grace, a judge has just ruled that the “most hated man in America” must forfeit $7.36 million in assets. To reach that amount, the infamous pharma bro is relinquishing a lovely Picasso, Lil Wayne’s unreleased album Tha Carter V, and his copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, an ultra-rare pressing of the album — in fact, the only one in existence — that Shkreli won at an auction for the cooool price of $2 million. Dollar dollar bills, y’all.

Shkreli gained internet notoriety after deciding to raise the price of cancer drugs by 5,000% through his pharmaceutical company, signalling loud and clear to the world that “Cash Rules Everything Around Me.” Shkreli, who seemed to have purchased the album on a lark, relished its possession, trolling rap fans worldwide by wondering if he should destroy the album or place it in a difficult to access location “so that people have to make a spiritual quest to listen.” Hopefully he at least listened to the damn thing.

Broseph’s crimes have caused over $10 million in financial losses, and he has since been convicted of securities fraud. Last year, his lawyer said the downtown douchebag was completely cash-broke, though he’s also said that Shaolin is “probably worthless.” Obviously, he hasn’t heard a good Ghostface flow in a while.
