Frankfurt-based synth adept Jogging House, with a new digital-only EP, called Person, has got this person moved. Jogging’s modular tones unfold with the grace of an ornamental fan unclasped. Patient craft. An example of such time-taking is found on opener “Navigator,” as reverb drifting and smoldering from a sparse melody gathers and aggregates into colorful bloom. Soon, gentle accents dart across the track, shaping a landscape that’s becoming ever more radiant, ever more alive. The artist says the EP is “about beginnings, ends and the melodies in between.” No hurry, though.
