So you say it’s 2019, and everyone’s “sad?”
Oh, BOO-HOO. I got news for y’all: STUFF HAS ALWAYS SUCKED, and it ALWAYS WILL. You’re gonna have to buck up and get over it.
Besides! Here’s at least one joyous thing: Meg Remy has just announced a run of US tour dates for this spring. And for as sweet, sweet cherry-on-top, she has also shared the latest video from 2018’s critically acclaimed U.S. Girls album In A Poem Unimited (out now on 4AD).
The clip for “Time” was shot by Alex Kingswell and “brings viewers out of the crowd and to the side of the stage with voyeuristic footage of the 9-piece band’s sold-out performance at Sappy Fest.”
I don’t really know what any of that means, but it sounds uplifting and pleasantly distracting!
So there you go. Everything’s great. End of story.
Thanks for stopping in. Bye, now!
