Kindness return with third album Something Like War in September; share new Jazmine Sullivan-assisted single “Hard to Believe”

·

There’s no use finessing this news story. That’s probably something Kindness can do better than me too! Asian-British polymath Kindness (a.k.a. Adam Bainbridge) will release their third album in September; and although everything they touch turns to gold (producing for/with heavy hitters like Solange, Blood Orange, and Robyn, DJing, radio hosting), it is their own music that is truly something to behold.

Kindness’ next cavalcade of should-be hits is called Something Like A War and it will be out digitally on September 6 through the Female Energy label. Seeing as talent normally rides with talent, the album will indubitably be chock-a-block with melody-oozing, dramatic spins by Kindness and their special guests.

Something Like A War features collaborative turns with the aforementioned Robyn, Seinabo Sey, Jazmine Sullivan, Alexandria, Cosima, Bahamadia, and Nadia Nair.

Kindness will also embark on a world tour in late 2019 with a new live band. Until that announcement, head below to hear the Jazmine Sullivan-assisted “Hard to Believe” and head here to catch up with the previously-released “Cry Everything” and “Lost Without” (feat. Seinabo Sey) singles.

Something Like A War can be pre-ordered here.
