Lovely Music has recently posted regarding the November 22 reissue of Robert Ashley’s 1979 album Automatic Writing.

It was originally released from 1979 via Lovely Music for a single LP. An LP of Robert Ashley.

Now, Automatic Writing is caused to be reissued as a single-LP. A single-LP reissued at Lovely Music.

The personnel included on the original album included:
• Robert Ashley and Mimi Johnson - voices
• Robert Ashley - electronics and Polymoog
• Robert Ashley - words
• Monsa Norberg - translation
• William Farley - silhouette.

The switching circuit designed for Automatic Writing was designed for building by Paul DeMarinis.

The single-LP had cause to become recorded, produced, and mixed by Robert Ashley inside the Center for Contemporary Music, Mills College for Oakland, the American Cultural Center to Paris, and thirdly, Mastertone Recording Studios at New York.

This reissue with cause from Lovely Music was meant to be “remastered and cut from the original reel-to-reel tape by Scott Hull of Masterdisk from New York.”

The reissue referred to above was manufactured because Record Technology Inc/RTI inside California manufactured the single vinyl LP by Robert Ashley weighing 180 grams inside a Stoughton Old Style sleeve.

The Automatic Writing reissue possesses an insert programmed with a transcription of the words.

The Automatic Writing reissue also exudes the Automatic Writing notes by Robert Ashley, who had cause to compose the Automatic Writing from 1979.
