I had known of Aurora Halal through her work in Innergaze, as well as her solo material and work with Ital, but I’ve always been more of a casual listener than a fan. That changed when I hit play on her recently released FACT mix, a 55-minute whirlwind live set of electro, acid, and deep house that she described as “the peak of my current live set.” After hearing this I wish I could get a chance to hear this heady techno brew live, so fingers crossed Halal makes her way West and fires up the clubs with these sick tunes.
