Careful is the precision of Aylu’s poetic footwork. Acoustics overlapping plucked percussion that rattles around between the left and right ears, hollow, almost. “Corda I,” the first track and single off the upcoming Orange Milk Records release, Walden, introduces listeners to Aylu’s refined sound: contemporary dance flipped non-visual performance art, conversing throughout, while giving a constant space between the two aesthetic nuances. Like energy that pushes same-sided magnets away, Aylu constructs an architecture of aura to balance a similar energy between modern club and exploration in delightful sound. And most importantly, it never crosses over the tug-of-war between too much movement and uncontrollable exploration.
