Early vaporwave progenitor Computer Slime (a.k.a. Computer Dreams a.k.a. Midnight Television) has returned from the dark web with a new 5-track release titled Sticky Keys. Responsible for the classic 2011 release Silk Road, the Houston-based artist this time replaces the faux encryption and liquid appropriations of vaporwave with the stabbing sub bass and snarling snares of footwork. I’d say this is best heard in the circle, but I’ve never been to a footwork battle, so what do I know.
