“Arpeggio” as a title, technically, doesn’t hint at the dirge to come; no need: slaps you in the face at first measure beat one; the bemoaning vertically distributed among the Das Audit quartet, a unified vessel at the onset. Once established though, Eve Essex and Craig Kalpakjian begin to crack up. John Anderson and Sean Keenan, the restrained half, are unable to wipe away the blur of teared-up eyes as family members, overcome, rush out of the service. The light pouring in, blinding by the end.
