Gatto Fritto’s self-titled debut is due April 26 on International Feel. But wait, who’s Gatto Fritto? He’s spent the past 10 years clanking his chains around the London transport system like a protagonist from a Knut Hamsun novel. They say he emerged from the suburban witchcraft and hard drug fallout of the late 90’s, the bastard offspring of John Dee, The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists and the Parachute Regiment, with the sound of Terry Riley, the Belleville Three and Glenn Branca ringing in his ears.”
