For his new label, enmossed, Philip Maier, aka Lack, gathers the laurels and brooms, powders and forks, feathers and cushions, junipers and liverworts that float down and around from Emily Berregaard’s Hallowed LP, dries them, amalgamates them into 33 BPM stones, and skips those.
Find them all in nature, wandering through, from enmossed, “a sound, an ethos; ‘to be covered in moss’, organic, verdant, growing.”
Proceeds from each release will go to a charity of the artists’ choice, which, for Emily, is Ann Arbor’s Safe House. Head here for more greenery, and to hear the label’s debut release, Lack’s Sanctuary Mix.
