Guitars dipped in honey. Ambrosia gushes out from each plucked string, and wild flowers, and a breath of leaves. The trees seem to have all grown green again overnight, and the flowered ones burst in pinks and whites. Sometimes funk can make you open your eyes. It’s lush, it’s spring, drink it in; put on a t-shirt as cute as Le Makeup’s; put on Life Intonation for sounds similar to some of Jam City’s Earthly 000 and a glowing collection of rosy-cheeked tracks that are all Le Makeup’s own. Each song feels like a warm gem placed in my hand, or a cold drink in the heat. An ice cream cone swirled to nth degree.
