Well this year has been one heck of a rollercoaster, huh???? Holy moly! It’s enough to make you wish somebody was out there repping the virtues of “innocence and naivety.”
So it’s a good thing Grand Rapids AM-radio worshipping threesome Major Murphy are doing just that on their sun-dappled, orange Starbust-sweet new single “Mary,” which (in the band’s words) represents an appeal to “to guide them through an unfair and complicated world.” We feel you, Murphs! Godspeed.
“Mary” arrives courtesy of Winspear Records, who will be releasing more Major Murphy in the new year. Until then, make sure to go see the band play a home town show later this month, if you live in Grand Rapids. Road trip if not? (We’re down as long as we don’t have to drive through Pennsylvania.)
